Probably the most ubiquitous drink in the world after water, certainly the best-known, Coca-Cola is more than just a sweet, dark and fizzy liquid.

It’s difficult to tell whether it’s popularity is due to the company’s gargantuan marketing efforts, or whether it really is the taste that keeps people coming back. Either way, it has become the standard mixer for use in drinks, and even finds a home in some cocktails too.
