Vodka

The urban model of the liquor cabinet, Vodka is currently the most fashionable spirit among those who have no idea about drinking. It’s clear, so it fits in well with current minimalist design and decorating trends. It’s odorless so as not to offend. Ironically, given those who love it, it’s also tasteless.

However, vodka has it’s uses beyond helping people who don’t like the taste of alcohol get drunk. It can be used in combination with liqueurs to balance out a cocktail while still keeping the desired flavours. It can also be used as a last resort mixed with whatever soft drink is available, if your host only stocks cheap-ass booze.

Here at Casa Dave we’re nothing if not authentic, so we recommend only using genuine Russian vodka, for that is where vodka hails from. At least that way you won’t feel as much of a marketing victim.
