Distilled from the juice of the blue agave plant, tequila has gathered quite a bad rap in recent years. It is, however, possible to drink tequila-based cocktails and still remain civilized. Indeed, there are even sipping tequilas. Remember, Jose Cuervo is not the definition of how tequila should taste.
